This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when using our website. By the act of accessing the website and submitting personal data, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Personal Information

When you visit our website, we may collect certain personal information directly from you, via an opt-in form located on the website under the “Volunteer” or “Get Involved” page. The information we request as you complete the opt-in form includes: your first and last name, a preferred email address, a preferred phone number, the municipality of your residence, and your ZIP code.

Additionally, we collect (non-opt-in) information about your usage of our website: including the type of browser you use, activity on the site (such as access times, pages viewed, and links clicked), device information of the computer or mobile device you use to access the site, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our website.

Once you have completed the opt-in form, any personal data you submit may be utilized by the Political Action Committee (PAC) which operates this website to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our website and its functionality.

  • Respond to your emails, submissions, comments, questions or requests; offer feedback or support; and otherwise contact you about your participation in the campaign and use of the website.

  • Communicate with you about our campaign, such as relaying information relevant to this ballot issue or candidate, sharing important voting procedures and deadlines, informing you of volunteer opportunities, events, activities, and campaign news.

  • Solicit volunteers, donations, and support for the PAC and its relevant ballot concerns.

  • Contact you if local, state, or federal election laws require additional information, such as in the case of an in-kind or monetary donation.

  • Remind you to vote, registered to vote, assist you in finding registration information, polling locations, or campaign events near you.

How to Opt-Out / Unsubscribe

Those who subscribe to email lists or SMS communications via the website may receive periodic updates from us by regular mail, SMS text message, or email. You may opt out of receiving future information via email by using the unsubscribe procedure specified on the email message, or by responding to any email from the PAC with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line or email body. Please ensure that you are using the email address that was submitted to the website via our online form.

If you opt-in to any text messaging programs operated by the Political Action Committee, you consent to receive periodic text message updates from our PAC staff and volunteers under PAC guidance.  You may opt-out of receiving any future text messages via SMS by responding to any text from the PAC the words “STOP”, “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “QUIT” - or any similar language that a campaign volunteer can reasonably understand as an opt-out request.

Please note, opting-out will only apply to the specific communication method you use to unsubscribe (SMS text or email).  If you provided both a cell number and an email address and wish to opt-out from both, please follow the instructions for each method independently.
